Burlington, MA (June 9th, 2004) - DAMICON, an information technology services company, today announced it's Safe Systems Program. This new professional service offering takes a comprehensive view of network and system security. The information technology field is fraught with point solutions to security problems. Internal and external threats are being dealt with in isolation resulting in a hodge-podge of components.
Making matters worse is the fact that none of the major technology vendors are offering a comprehensive security solution. The situation promises to get worse over the next few years as attackers become more sophisticated and their attacks grow in complexity.
"The computer security vendors are just not getting the job done.", said Vin D'Amico, President of DAMICON, "Think about all the solutions out there...firewalls, intrusion detectors, intrusion preventers, anti-virus software, anti-spam software, spyware cleaners and monitoring tools. It's not surprising that we have so many security violations. Our goal at DAMICON is to guide our clients through this maze of offerings."
This new service is being made immediately available to all DAMICON clients. Because demand is expected to be high, there will be a phased rollout of the service to other interested parties over the next three months.
